AN elderly Innaloo man has been attacked during a daylight home burglary.
The 86-year-old was at his Thor Street home on Friday at about 10am when he found wet footprints near the rear sleepout.
He was confronted by a man who appeared to have broken in through the wall.

He struck the older man on the forearm with a copper pole and stole $1000 from his wallet and $200 in coins from a money box.
The victim was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital but did not suffer serious injuries.
Police are hunting the suspect who is described as about 30 years old, six-foot tall, with dark hair, dark skin and a squeaky voice.
