Elderly woman pushed, robbed

The 93-year-old was in the cold food aisle reaching up to a high shelf to get milk when a man pushed her in the back causing her to fall to the ground.

While the woman was on the ground, the offender reached into her handbag and stole her wallet containing cash and cards.

Police said the woman was badly shaken and treated in hospital for minor injuries.

The man was described as 30 to 40-years-old, dark skinned, about 175cm tall, of medium build and was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and a black baseball cap with the Nike symbol on the front.

Police are appealing for help and would like to speak with the people pictured, who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries. The incident happened on January 20.
