THE countdown is on again to the annual Osborne Park Show.

Returning for its 104th year, the show will transform Robinson Reserve in Tuart Hill into a hive of entertainment, activities and family fun this Friday and Saturday.

Osborne Park Agricultural Society president Rohan Murray said this year’s show would feature more local schools and community groups than ever before.

“The 2018 show is a celebration of all the great things in the City of Stirling community,” he said.

Highlights include the Stirling Schools Sing-along, rare birds on display, motocross and trick horse riding demonstrations, circus workshops, an animal farm and fireworks.

Student bands from Balga Senior High School, Dianella Secondary College and West End Music Academy will have attendees tapping their feet on Saturday night, followed by a dance finale by Danza Viva, Perth Swing Dance Academy and Balcatta Senior High School.

There will be plenty of homemade and homegrown items being judged, along with sideshow alley, showbags and rides.

Mr Murray said the produce, birds, arts and crafts displays would be in the exhibition sheds for the final time ahead of the reserve redevelopment.

He promised more seating and shade on the arena, with a variety of food and drink options, including a pop-up bar, nearby.

“We hope you join us to celebrate 57 years of wandering in and out of the displays and farewell the grand old pavilions on Robinson Reserve in style,” he said.

The show is on Friday, November 16, from 6pm to 10pm and Saturday, November 17, from 11am to 10pm.
