The Metro North-West Development Assessment Panel will consider the application but the City of Stirling is required to submit a report and is seeking public feedback until February 14.
People can also comment on Kalmpets’ application to expand its animal behaviour centre on Gibberd Road in Balcatta.
It offers animal behaviour consultations, training and dog day care at the facility.
The centre is seeking permission to cater for a maximum of 80 dogs per day in the day care, instead of the existing 42 dogs.
Its application said it was needed to increase revenue to cover operating costs and be able to renew its lease in December, as well as respond to demand.
The consultation period ends on February 22.
