Firefighters put out Doubleview backyard blaze

FIRE crews and police attended a backyard fire in Doubleview last week.

Neighbours reported a fire at the rear of a property on the corner of Herbert Street and Scarborough Beach Road at 11.02pm on January 31.

Six firefighting crews from Osborne Park and Daglish attended and extinguished the blaze by 11.27pm.

The potentially suspicious fire caused $1000 damage to the adjacent fence and some outdoor furniture.
