Laura PondStirling Times

KARRINYUP Shopping Centre’s food court has been demolished.

Multiplex started work on the centre’s $800 million redevelopment in late November and has since finished demolition of the former food court and undercover carpark at the northeast part of the site.

Workers are currently undertaking piling for the excavation of the basement carpark and outside Big W for the future multi-deck carpark.

Upcoming works include pouring foundations and installing services for the first ground slab section of the fashion loop, construction of retaining walls for a loading dock next to Big W, earthworks for the multi-deck carpark and demolition of the ground and first floor areas to connect the Centre Court and fashion mall.
