FORMER Balcatta Liberal MLA Chris Hatton could be switching places with his successor David Michael as he eyes a spot on the City of Stirling council.
Previous Osborne Ward councillor David Michael won the seat, which Mr Hatton had held since 2013, when Labor claimed victory in the March State Election.
Mr Hatton told the Stirling Times he would nominate as a candidate in the upcoming local government election in October.

READ NOW“I will be nominating to be elected into the City of Stirling Osborne Ward,” Mr Hatton said.
“Having represented the local suburbs as MLA, I am now keen and passionate to follow up on some projects and issues.”
Mr Hatton said there was already a “fair bit” of pre-election campaigning.
“I am aware that the Osborne Ward will be hotly contested by a number of people and that it will be a fairly tight contest,” he said.
It is understood that former City of Stirling mayor Adam Spagnolo will also contest the same ward in October.
