A TOY library has popped up in Innaloo.

The free Little Library is a collaboration between the City of Stirling and Westfield Innaloo and offers a variety of services and activities during the week.

It includes a library service, book exchange, pre-school story time sessions, Lego club, parents and babies sessions, technology labs and community history corner run by Mount Flora Regional Museum staff.

City library services manager Viv Barton said the way the community interacted with libraries was changing.

β€œThe same shift has been happening with shopping centres, as they start to extend beyond retail and become a place for people to socialise and connect,” she said.

The library is open near the Coles entrance on weekdays from 10am to 4pm until the end of September.
