Free waterwise workshop in North Beach

LEARN how to save water in the garden at a free workshop in North Beach.

The waterwise garden workshop will teach City of Stirling residents how to have a healthy and water efficient garden.

Water Corporation is working with the Waterwise Council, City and South Metropolitan Tafe to deliver the program and spokeswoman Clare Lugar said there were many ways to save water.

“More than 40 per cent of household water use occurs outside the home, so gardens are a great place to start when it comes to saving water,” she said.

“This free interactive workshop will include details of how to set up your garden and irrigation system, so you can have a healthy waterwise garden throughout the year.”

The workshop is on April 11 from 6pm to 7.30pm at Henderson Environmental Centre.
