Get moving to Carine Parkrun anniversary

RUNNERS, joggers and walkers are encouraged to help celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Carine Glades Parkrun next weekend.

The event is held Saturdays at Carine Open Space and offers a free timed 5km circuit.

Event director Simon Macneall said recorded times ranged from 16 minutes to an hour so it was suitable for everyone.

“In the last 12 months, just under 2000 participants have walked, jogged or run the course,” he said.

The anniversary run is on June 15 from 8am.

New participants should register online prior.
