A 29-year-old woman is facing Perth Magistrates Court this morning after an alleged police chase through several suburbs and damage to a number of cars.

Police allege the Glendalough woman stole a silver Mazda sedan from Balcatta at 2pm yesterday afternoon.

Officers spotted the car at 3.50pm near Great Eastern Highway in Belmont, and a police chase through several suburbs towards Perth ensued.

The car swiped a stationary police vehicle near the intersection of Wellington and Barrack Street in the CBD, then continued onto Wellington Street.
