Hale on of 23 schools taking part in art exhibition at Presbyterian Ladies’ College

HALE School is one of 23 schools participating in the Independent Primary School Heads of Australia (IPSHA) art exhibition.

This year will mark the first time in the exhibition’s 15 years it will held at Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC) in Peppermint Grove and will run from September 11.

Art works on display are selected from what the students at schools from Mullaloo to Rockingham have created in art class throughout the year that fit the exhibition theme Creativity is Contagious – Pass It On, taken from the Albert Einstein quote.

PLC art teacher Colleen Garland the exhibition offered a chance to bring students and teachers together to share artistic ideas.

“We are trying to show that we share ideas and pass on techniques and work collaboratively,” she said.

There will be a public viewing on Wednesday, September 14 from 4.30pm to 7pm with free entry.
