POLICE say a woman who was hallucinating while driving along a major Perth road is in custody after being arrested on drugs charges.

The 46-year-old of no fixed address was stopped by a booze bus on Marmion Avenue in Karrinyup on New Year’s Day at about 7.30pm.

After drug testing the woman, police searched her car and allegedly found 9.68g of methamphetamine and $915 cash.

Mirrabooka Detectives attended but were unable to interview the accused because she was hallucinating, according to the police report.

The woman has been remanded in custody to face court on January 30 on charges of intent to sell or supply methamphetamine and possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and unlawfully obtained property.
