Hamersley cub scouts attain highest honour

Laura PondStirling Times

THREE Hamersley Scout Group members have received the highest honour possible for cub scouts.

The trio of 10-year-olds – Jasmine de Bomford, Ava Dransfield and Dylan Maybee – recently received their Grey Wolf badges.

Group leader Daryn Tisson said the cubs had been working for more than a year to complete the badge.

“They’ve done their boomerangs, they’ve had to do their proficiency badges and bushwalking and they’ve done a resource for the group which is the bird feeder now outside our hall,” he said.
