Immy is most impressed

Staff ReporterStirling Times

When the Stirling Times first spoke to Mr Ariff he had raised just over $600 with more than $2000 being donated since publication two weeks ago.

The Count Me In ambassador thanked everyone who had donated and hoped he would reach his goal of $6000.

‘I couldn’t believe that everyone kept donating, even last night donations were coming in, even the comments on the site have been really positive,’ Mr Ariff said.

‘Thank you so much, I’ve been so humbled by the kindness of Australians, it’s shown that just a little wish like a holiday can make people come together.’

Mr Ariff said he believed it was important to remain positive, no matter what circumstances one might find themselves in during their life.

‘No matter what you have or what your hopes and dreams are, just keep on being positive because there are a lot of generous people out there. I was so overwhelmed and so touched by this generosity of how helpful people are.’
