Isabella lights up the night at Show: Princess Margaret Foundation

Isabella’s mother Nicole Buschgens said her daughter’s diagnosis of B-cell lymphoma in 2013 was a shock to the whole family.

“It really rocked our family to the core,” Ms Buschgens said.

“Childhood cancer has ripple effects for the whole family, ranging from separation anxiety to post traumatic stress disorder. We now relish any time we can spend together as a family after spending so much time in treatment apart.

“Isabella was extremely excited about the opportunity to set off the fireworks at the Royal Show.”

PMH Foundation chief executive Denys Pearce said he was excited the foundation was able to give one of their ambassador families the opportunity.
