Karrinyup-based Hugs and Stitches Craft Group hosting Mother’s Day craft fete

FIND a handmade Mother’s Day gift while helping charities at a craft fete on May 5.

Karrinyup-based Hugs and Stitches Craft Group will be selling handmade aprons, quilts, tea towel, scarves and toys.

The group has donated more than $12,000 to charities since starting in 2010, with aged care services, brain cancer research, Radio Lollipop and City of Stirling’s women’s refuge among the beneficiaries.

Members also knit items for hospital patients and premature babies.

Funds raised from the fete will be given to charities and people are encouraged to donate fabrics, wool and craft materials.

Visit unit 32, 27 Prisk Street, Karrinyup from 10am to 2pm.

Morning tea will be available for $4.
