The scholarship aims to provide a student in the School of Arts and Sciences with a Catholic university experience challenging them to make the world a better place.
Miss Chong, who will do a double degree in Communications and Media and Arts, said she chose the university for its unique ethical values and quality of educational experience.
“I’m really excited to learn from and with likeminded people who share my goals and ambitions,” she said.
She received the scholarship in recognition of her outstanding achievements in Year 12 at St Mary’s.
