Kids Zone opens at centre

Having partnered with Ride On, a global retail entertainment company, the centre transformed the area into a fun, play area for shoppers with children from two to eight years.

Ride On managing director Tim Kerr said the new zone transformed what was otherwise unused space within the shopping |centre into an engaging and aesthetically pleasing area for children to have fun.

Centre manager Leanne Chaprioniere said the upgrade of the area formed part of the plan to make Mirrabooka Square a more inviting centre for families to shop.

"We understand shopping with small children can be a challenge at the best of times, so dedicating a specific play area will be a welcome relief," Ms Chaprioniere said.

The Kids Zone outside the entrance to Big W is one of numerous upgrades to the centre this year, including a new-look Kmart, and refurbishment of Coles, the food court and entry.
