MIRRABOOKA Detectives released a CCTV image of a car believed to be used during an armed robbery on October 19 where a hunting knife was used to threaten a man in Osborne Park.

About 2.20pm, a 25-year-old man was sitting in his car at a Main Street car park in Osborne Park when a blue Holden pulled up behind him.

A man got out of the blue Holden and approached the 25-year-old man’s driver side door.

The 25-year-old got out of his car as the man approached him.

It’s believed the man threatened the victim with a large hunting style knife before pushing him.

The offender entered the victim’s car through the driver’s door and removed an amount of cash, then returned to the blue Holden, and drove south on Main Street.

The man was described as between 35-40 years old, solid build, about 183cm tall, light brown skin, straight hair and was wearing a dark coloured short sleeve shirt and shorts and a dark coloured bandana over his head.
