EXTRA security will be in place for a planned power outage at Scarborough foreshore.

City of Stirling had advised walkways and carparks will be unlit along The Esplanade on Tuesday night from 10pm until Wednesday morning at 5am.

The power outage will affect City owned and operated buildings, and the skate park area, which will be fenced off and closed to the public from 5pm to 5am.
