Local seniors get an education on NBN

A local Telstra team assisted Mount La Verna retirement village residents to understand how to connect to the NBN.

Village resident Gloria Carr said it was a helpful experience.

“We have all been a bit confused and in the dark about the NBN and what to do with our phones and internet, but now we have clarity and a pathway on how to get started,” she said.

More than 12,000 residents in Karrinyup, Innaloo, Gwelup, Doubleview, Stirling, Wembley Downs and Churchlands now have access to the network.

Telstra area general manager Boyd Brown said NBN would be rolled out to about 4000 additional homes and businesses in Osborne Park, Woodlands and Herdsman by the end of July.
