A PERTH property group want to build a 12-storey luxury apartment complex at 194 The Esplanade, Scarborough to coincide with the $100 million redevelopment.

Perth property group Cape Bouvard Developments is seeking approval from the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) to progress plans for a development on the north-facing corner of Brighton Road and The Esplanade opposite The Wild Fig cafe.

The development will have views of the ocean and the City of Stirling’s new $26 million Scarborough Beach Pool.

Cape Bouvard development manager Tristan Cribb said the development would include 37 apartments with a resort-style pool and amenities and an eatery.

“We are aiming to deliver the first mixed-use development on the Scarborough beachfront under the MRA’s Redevelopment Scheme, which will play an important part in the transformation of the Brighton Road precinct,” he said.

“As works by the MRA and the City of Stirling continue in and around Scarborough, the beachside destination is becoming one of the most enviable places to live on the WA coastline and 194 The Esplanade will become another luxurious addition to this lively beachside community.
