AAPStirling Times

A MAN has denied murdering a 41-year-old Perth DJ whose body was found in his Tuart Hill home last year.

Jaime Rodolfo Fernandez, known as “DJ Suave”, was discovered with significant injuries in his North Beach Drive unit on July 19, 2016 and police believe he had died up to three days earlier.

The accused killer, 28-year-old Balga man Victor Amaya, appeared in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court via video link from prison on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty.

He will appear for the first time in the Supreme Court of WA on October 23.
