Carine: man serving lifetime driving ban allegedly leads police on high-speed chase

Laura PondStirling Times

POLICE have charged a man, who already had his license disqualified for life, over a car chase that ended in Carine yesterday.

The chase started when police tried to stop a stolen Holden ute on Crimea Street in Morley about 10.40am.

The driver allegedly failed to stop and accelerated away, where he continued driving in a “reckless manner” through suburbs including Balcatta.

Officers on the ground were assisted by the Police Air Wing.
