Man tied up and beaten in Perth home invasion

POLICE are looking for three offenders after a man was beaten and tied up in his Yokine home yesterday.

The man’s parents were also assaulted.

About 4pm a man in his 30s returned to his Frape Street home to find two men inside the house.

The men assaulted the victim with blunt weapons before binding his hands behind his back.

During this time the men demanded money and property from the victim.

About 30 minutes later the victim’s parents, who are aged in their 50s, returned home and were also assaulted by the men.

During this time a third offender entered the house.

The men obtained a quantity of cash and property before fleeing the scene.

The victims were all conveyed by St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment for head and body injuries including lacerations, bruising and swelling.
