When they refused, security staff also requested they exit the venue but the trio became abusive.

The men pushed security officers and one of them tried to punch an officer, but did not connect.

An off-duty police officer identified herself and the men moved to the front of the venue, where they continued to be verbally and physically abusive.

One of the men allegedly spat at and pushed a security officer and also pushed the policewoman.

They stole a security identification pass and left the area on foot.

As well as the assaults, the group may also face charges of refusing to leave a licensed premises and disorderly behaviour.

The man wanted over the assaults is described as 35 to 45 years old with fair skin, short dark hair, a medium build and wearing a black T-shirt, blue shorts and brown work boots.

Police want to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident.
