Man wanted over attempted burglary with machete

A MAN armed with a machete attempted to steal a motorbike from an Australia Post worker in Nollamara.

At about 12.45pm the man, who was on a bike, attempted to steal the motorbike on Monterey Court.

Police believe the same man approached two people in a car parked on Myimbar Way 15 minutes later, threatening them with the machete before riding away when told police had been called.

Mirrabooka Detectives are investigating the two incidents that occurred on May 1 that they believe are linked.

They have released composite images of the man they want to speak to in relation to the incidents.
