Marquee purchase makes Rottnest winter weddings more convenient

Denise S. CahillStirling Times

WINTER weddings on Rottnest Island will be more convenient with the Rottnest Island Authority purchasing a marquee for outdoor ceremonies and receptions during cooler months.

Events and weddings co-ordinator Deone Van der Westhuizen said the 20m x 10m marquee would give wedding parties an option for beachside ceremonies and receptions all year round.

“We’re growing the range of options for ceremonies, styling and hiring on Rottnest,” she said.
