Netballers in Wembley get visit from West Coast Fever captain Medhurst and teammates

WEST Coast Fever captain Natalie Medhurst welcomed young netballers for the start of the 2017 Perth Netball Association season on Saturday.

The goal attack, who played her 200th game the following day, was joined by teammate Kaylia Stanton at Matthews Netball Centre, Wembley.

In the open division one, reigning premiers Scarborough beat Floreat 36-20, City Beach Surfers (1) defeated Jets 48-27, Classics (2) had a 55-53 win over CBS (2), and Phantoms beat Classics (1) 60-44.

Classics (2) defeated John XXIII 30-29 in the junior division one competition while Storm beat CBS (1) 45-28, CBS (2) had a 45-14 win over Perth College and Classics (1) defeated Methodist Ladies’ College 49-30.

In the junior Year 7-8 division one competition, St Hildas defeated JTC 52-30, Classics(1) beat Newman Sienna 48-5, Classics (2) had a 36-24 win over CBS and West Coasters defeated Perth College 64-22.
