Members were treated to fruit scones, pumpkin, potato and leek soup, Chicken Bonen Femme and creamed rice on the day.

City of Stirling community services manager Chris Brereton said the event was a lively and educational for the Adult Day Club.

“The members thoroughly enjoyed the food and cooking presentation,” he said.

“You are never too old to learn a new skill…skill development and life-long learning enables club members to continue to keep their independence at home for longer.

“The majority of club members are men and the opportunity to learn cooking skills from a well-known and respected chef was not to be missed.”
