CHARGES may be upgraded after an Ashfield man died in hospital yesterday from “serious” chest injuries sustained while at a Nollamara home last Friday .
Mirrabooka detectives charged a 52-year-old Northbridge woman with grievous bodily harm last week but a police spokesman said charges may be upgraded pending results from the post mortem.
Major Crime Squad detectives will take on the investigation after the 37-year-old man died in Royal Perth Hospital.

The accused and the 37-year-old male victim were both guests at a St Albans Road residence at the time of the alleged incident.
