North Beach: former Miss Universe contestant starts brow business

FORMER Miss Universe finalist Gabriella Shepherd has plucked up the courage to venture out on her own and start her Gabriella Brow Studio in North Beach.

The northern suburbs resident launched the brow studio last month after several years in the beauty industry.

“To be honest I never thought I would start my own business because I absolutely loved my job and where I worked,” she said.

“However, things and people change.

“That’s when I realised the best way to be really happy again and provide the level of service to my clients that I enjoy and they expect would be to start my own business.”

Mrs Shepherd, also a qualified make-up artist, said the seaside location in North Beach was the ideal location for her to set up shop and teaming up with Sea-Beauty North Beach made sense.

“I have always lived near North Beach and I love the location and the cafes nearby,” she said.

“Having been to Sea-Beauty for a number of years I knew the salon would be perfect for the look and feel I was trying to achieve.”

Mrs Shepherd said her brow studio offered brow makeovers, which included waxing, tinting and tweezing, as well as feather touch tattooing.
