NORTH Beach swimmer Chelsea Begley is setting lofty goals ahead of this weekend’s Port to Pub swim.

Ms Begley (41), her sister Jaye Reynolds and childhood friends Emma Johnston and Sally Slabel were the first women’s team across the line in last year’s swim and this year are hoping to finish in less than five hours.

Their team, the Sea Hags, rarely train together and undertake individual regimes with different swimming squads.

“Some of us train more than others, but we only meet up as a team the week before the Port to Pub,” Ms Begley said.

“My 11-year-old daughter can’t wait until she can do the swim but we might hang up the goggles after this year, although we say that every year.”
