Operation Salman: Scarborough police hail success of blitz on anti-social behaviour

SCARBOROUGH police officers carried out Operation Salman along the beachfront over the weekend.

Senior Sergeant Glenn Dowding said it was a successful operation, which targeted anti-social behaviour.

“We are aiming for a zero tolerance approach for anti-social behaviour on the beachfront and was supported by officers from Mirrabooka, Warwick and Hillarys Police Stations,” he said.

Target areas included Scarborough beachfront, entertainment precinct and Glendalough Train Station on both November 5 and 6.

Officers worked alongside and were supported by staff from City of Stirling and Scarborough surf lifesaving.
