Osborne Park: Buy a coffee to help dog rescue

Laura PondStirling Times

THE owners of Leftfield Coffee Roasters in Osborne Park are combining their love of coffee and dogs.

Louise Gordon and Kamran Nowduschani are donating money from all coffee sales this Saturday, November 24 to Desperate for Love Dog Pound Rescue (DFL).

“Both Kamran and myself love dogs and came across DFL dog rescue a few years ago,” Ms Gordon said.

“I think the work they do fostering out and re-homing dogs is fantastic and think DFL and other organisations like them really need our support.

“Personally I would love to foster a dog but as we have two rescue dogs already, we thought the next best thing is to do a fundraiser for them.

“I don’t think people realise how many dogs end up in pounds and need re-homing, so what DFL does is really important.”

They are encouraging people to visit on the day and buy a cup of coffee, made from their Fat Puppy blend, for a gold coin donation or buy a bag of coffee.

All the money from coffee sold on the day will go to the rescue.
