Osborne Park: locks cut on 29 storage units, police still investigating

THIEVES cut locks on 29 storage units at an Osborne Park secure storage facility in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Scarborough Police Senior Sergeant Glenn Dowding said he believed two people were involved in the theft but police were still investigating.

“While CCTV footage is available we’re not sure what has been stolen yet,” he said.

“We don’t have vision of (the thieves) leaving the building.”

Sgt Dowding said the National Storage facility on Scarborough Beach Road was in the process of notifying people about the thefts.

National Storage management declined to comment.
