Osborne Park man faces court over Welshpool factory fire

ARSON Squad detectives have charged an Osborne Park man with allegedly starting a factory fire which caused $9 million damage on March 14.

About 10.25pm, police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the warehouse and factory on Pilbara Street, Welshpool.

The fire caused extensive structural damage to the building.

The 31-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage by fire and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.
