Overnight fire in Innaloo a suspected arson attack

AN overnight fire that came dangerously close to businesses in Innaloo is believed to be deliberately lit.

Emergency crews were called to the scene last night to find flames spanning across hundreds of square metres of scrubland.

It is believed there were three ignition points and it took firefighters more than three hours to fully extinguish the blaze.

Workers from The Hire Guys on Scarborough Beach Road were also called to move some of their vehicles in case the fire got too close.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
