No longer confined to the gym, the looks from Running Bare, Lorna Jane and lululemon athletica aim to show active wear is just as suitable at a cafe, shops or catching up with friends.

Mr Johnson said active wear had become more practical and wearable so people could go from a coffee or a meeting to the gym.

"As trainers we're able to live in that sort of gear all the time," he said.

Centre marketing manager Claire Ridley said the event would be a celebration of fashion, health, wellbeing and positive living.

"We're very pleased to be part of this year's Perth Fashion Festival line-up and invite all healthy living devotees join us," she said.

"This is a fun and inspiring opportunity to take Karrinyup fashion into the outdoors and showcase the latest active wear ranges in an exciting new environment."

The event will start at 11am. Tickets at www.ticketek.com.au.
