AN Inglewood restaurant is sharing the Christmas spirit by offering free meals.
Family-run Indian restaurant Chakra, on Beaufort Street, will again serve up a free meal with soft drink on Christmas Eve.
Organiser Sonia Pathak said they thoroughly enjoyed last year’s inaugural initiative and wanted to again celebrate the festive season with the community.

READ NOW“(The event) is one of the ways of giving back to the community and we strongly believe that everyone should be able to celebrate the festival with the same enthusiasm and festive food,” she said.
“Chakra restaurant as a business gets a lot of support from its loyal guests, local community and City of Stirling.
“Christmas Eve is the perfect time to reflect back on to our achievements, success, feedback and community we are living in.”
Visit the restaurant at 839D Beaufort Street, Inglewood on December 24 from 6pm to 8pm.
