Police, ambulance at scene of motorcycle crash in Dianella

A MOTORCYCLIST has been injured and police are on the scene of a crash in Dianella following an earlier police chase.

A WA Police spokesman said the crash at the Alexander Drive and Grand Promenade intersection was reported about 1.20pm today.

Police believe the motorcycle was earlier involved in a police chase just after 1pm on Railway Parade in Bayswater.

Police attempted to stop the motorcycle but aborted the chase when the driver took off.

He was last seen by police on Park Street in Bedford.

The rider was not wearing a helmet at the time and he is believed to have serious injuries.
