Police call for help to identify duo wanted for questioning over Gwelup and Innaloo car fires

MIRRABOOKA detectives want help to identify two men they believe can help with their investigation into car fires in Gwelup and Innaloo.

A Suzuki Swift was set alight about 12.45am on Monday, June 26 last year on Gardon Rise in Gwelup.

Two hours later a second car, also a Suzuki Swift, was set on fire about 2.50am in Lilacdale Road, Innaloo.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended both incidents and extinguished the fires.

Detectives released images of two men who were in the areas at the time of the fires and may be able to assist with the investigation.

The first is described as fair skinned, of slim build, between 15 and 20 years old and wearing a cap, backpack, hoodie and pants.

The second man is described as dark skinned, of slim build, between 15 and 20 years old and wearing a baseball cap, backpack, dark hoodie and dark pants.
