Police charge daughter who allegedly drove at mum

A KOONDOOLA woman is in custody after allegedly trying to run over her mother.

Police were called to the mother’s home on Scalby Street in Doubleview on June 25 after an argument between the pair escalated.

The 25-year-old woman reportedly took her mother’s purse from inside the house and tried to leave in her car.

Her mother stood between the car and house demanding her purse be returned.

The daughter allegedly drove at her mother aggressively, narrowly missing her, and crashed into the front veranda pole, causing damage.

She was remanded in custody to face court on July 23 charged with an act endangering the life, health or safety of a person and criminal damage.
