POLICE have charged a young Innaloo woman over an alleged ticketing scam.
The 19-year-old is alleged to have created fake Facebook profiles to sell tickets to concerts and events including Listen Out festival in September.
Victims contacted the woman via social media and transferred money for the tickets, which police allege did not exist.
Scarborough Police Senior Sergeant Craig Wanstall said officers charged her with 22 counts of gains benefit by fraud.
He urged people to only purchase tickets from credible providers.
