HOMICIDE squad detectives have charged a 31-year-old-man with the murder of Doubleview grandmother Julie Anne Cooper.

Police charged the man after they discovered what they believed to be Ms Cooper’s body yesterday while searching bushland in Ashendon, near Armadale.

He will appear before Perth Magistrates Court today.

Ms Cooper was last seen on Friday August 17, when she advised her friends and family she would be out of contact for about two weeks.
