Police charge motorcyclist allegedly found with $40k in backpack

A MAN was allegedly found with nearly $40,000 cash in $50 notes in his backpack after being stopped by police.

Scarborough Police were attending an unrelated matter in Doubleview on November 8 about 1pm when they saw a motorcyclist they believed was acting suspiciously.

They tried to stop the man but he allegedly drove away before eventually stopping and was subsequently searched.
