POLICE have charged two people after an alleged police chase through Perth yesterday which ended with a car crashing into a house in Yokine.

It is alleged that at around 9.40am police observed a stolen red Mazda sedan on Corbett Street in Scarborough.

Police activated their emergency lights and siren in an attempt to stop the vehicle, but it is alleged the vehicle accelerated away and travelled through Floreat, Wembley, Leederville and Yokine.

The vehicle collided with another vehicle at the corner of Flinders Street and Cape Street in Yokine, where it hit the wall of a house.
