Police investigate train laptop theft

POLICE are investigating the theft of a laptop on a Perth-bound train.

A woman left her bag containing a laptop computer worth more than $1000 when she alighted a train at Glendalough station on August 15 at about 2.30pm.

She organised for the train to be searched at Elizabeth Quay station but her bag was not found.

Police believe a male passenger took the bag and have released CCTV images of a man they believe can help with the investigation.

He is described as aged about 30 with light skin, medium build, a shaved head and facial hair, and was wearing a black hooded top and long dark pants.
