Police investigating Scarborough stealing and fraud

A THIEF allegedly pick-pocketed a man’s wallet in Scarborough then racked up purchases at local stores.

The man reported feeling his wallet being taken from his back pocket on September 17 at about 10.30pm.

When he turned around he saw a man running away behind him.

About 45 minutes later, the victim’s credit card was used to fraudulently buy items from three stores in Scarborough.

The first man was wearing a black hooded jacket and is described as aged about 18 with light skin, short brown hair and a thin build.

The second man was described as aged about 18 with light skin, short dark hair, a small moustache and thin build, and was wearing a black hooded jacket and a red peaked cap.
